Vigo

Time comes when one should move forward and I had to quit Portugal after 20 days spent there. It sucks a little bit but I do not have the time to regret since I am moving back to Spain and its charming North regions. Galicia is the region closest to Porto and my first stop is Vigo, the biggest city in Galicia and the closest I want to check out near the border. I did not do my homework well and was surprised by the Vigo bay which is amazingly beautiful :) I love water (oceans, seas, rivers, bathrooms haha) so I liked Vigo very much. As it was supposed to be it looked quite different than South Spain but not that much from Portugal. Nice small city with a beach nearby and an old town. The Parque de Castro has some amazing panoramic views over the city and the Ria, definitely a must to check out!
Also consider about going to Galicia if you wanna see some beautiful beaches and be able to lie and walk around without having to compete with hordes of tourists :)
