Valencia
Hey everybody, today is my last day in Valencia... It's one of the biggest Spanish cities and is totally different than Cordoba. Which doesn't mean it's not beautiful: it is! Unfortunately there are not that many things to sight see; special mention goes for the Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias, really impressive! Thanks to I. for hosting me!

Cordoba continued
I have passed the last couple of days walking around Cordoba, visiting museums, castles and the Cathedral... The weather was not that hot (less than 30 degrees)yesterday so we even managed to go outside for a walk in the afternoon. Crucial times!!!
p.s. there's the Alcazar by night, the Mezquita, the Alcazar by day and some other cool things... Enjoy!

10.05.2011 - 13.05.2011 - Madrid
First stop of the summer trip - Madrid, Spain... After saying goodbye to my parents and M. at the airport I had a quite boring flight to Madrid. I arrived at about 8pm and was able to find my way to the hostel without any problems.
Madrid is a beautiful city. I enjoyed my stay there: I met some cool people in the hostel (what's up Canada?) and saw all the basic tourist bullshit. Maybe the only negative point is that it's really hard (and expensive) to eat outside when you are a vegetarian and your Spanish sucks (like mine!); I did pass by a good looking vegan restaurant on my last day there and I will definitely check it the next time I go to Madrid. I would the same with the nightlife which seemed pretty lively, definitely on my "to do" list with M. Being on my own and going to a bar to drink a soda is not my thing so I just walked around the streets/plazas filled with (young and not so young) people both evenings I spent there. South Spain is next...
