Aveiro

This week in Porto was supposed to be spent in visiting nearby cities. It is cheap and easy to go to Aveiro, Braga and Guimaraes and I started with Aveiro. We went there early on Monday morning (around 11) with S. and were surprised by the calmness of the place. Monday morning and no tourists around (we met no more than 20 during the half day we were there) and no locals around (which was kinda more surprising). Anyway, we spotted a supermarket where to buy ingredients for our traditional lunch picnic and went in search of the Tourist info point. Once we found it and got a map of the city we realized we had just seen most of the interesting monuments/places. We checked the rest and then had lunch, walked around for a little bit and went back to Porto. A long day for me as I ended up checking out the FC Porto stadium and then go out for a party...
