Guimaraes

Well, as you may have already read in a previous post I didn't make it to Braga on Tuesday and was determined to go to Guimaraes for my last day in Portugal. S. joined me once more and we headed to the first Portuguese city. We arrived around noon and went for our picnic (you can never beat the feeling) and then checked all the town's monuments/places/squares. It basically has a castle and an old town. Both were really cool and we enjoyed our stay a lot more than in Aveiro (to be honest it is not difficult to top Aveiro). We just roamed around and I took a few pictures (some of them of course you can check below). In the afternoon we decided we've had enough and went back to Porto where we had tea in a very nice tea house.
North Spain will follow quickly! The first photos from Vigo and Pontevedra should be online this weekend or next week (as soon as I have internet after today hehe)!
