Bilbao

I arrived in Bilbao on Thursday afternoon and left for France early in the morning on Saturday. I realle had a blast there and would like to thank C. and the vegan crew!!!
I even managed to catch a hardcore show on Friday evening and see some old friends from Sweden. On Thursday I walked around with my back packs and had to take frequent breaks as I was really tired from Santander. I still had a good time and managed to join the city center walking all the way from the bus station to the train station on the riverside. There were the famous Guggenheim museum that I checked only from the outside and lots of cool buildings and things to see... Later that day I went to a demonstration in support of 12 animal rigths activists that had been arrested a few days before. On Friday I just walked in the old town, took my time to check the new center and chilled near the river. On Saturday I left early and took the bus to Donostia - San Sebastian where I took another bus without having the opportunity to check the city. The last stop of the bus was Bayonne in France from where I hitchhiked up north to Nantes. More stories from France to come later...

Santander - 30.06

My plans changed once again because of the weather and the lack of (cheap) hostels in North Spain. This is why I took the night bus from Oviedo and arrived in Santander at 4 am... I spent the time until 8 am in or near the bus station, it was cold and I couldn't wait for the sun to come. Around 8 am I decided that the time has finally come to go for a walk and just did it :) As I had both my back packs with me walking wasn't easy but I managed to reach the end of the bay and see the Royal Palace and some really nice views. I then walked back and after checking at the tourist info office found there's nothing else of big importance so just went slowly back to the bus station and a little bit after noon I took a bus to Bilbao.

Gijon

I went there only for an afternoon, I think it would've been cool to stay more than 3 hours but it was not possible because of the bad weather... Another beautiful city and the first one after Vigo on the coast. Another awesome views and it seems it's very lively when the students are there... Nice beach + small city + enough stuff to do = cool!
